Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings given below:

• "Heirloom Path", "we", "us", "our" refers to the heritage cataloguing and records curation service operating at 33 Persiaran Stonor, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
• "User", "you", "your" refers to any individual or household representative who visits our website or engages our services.
• "Programme" refers to any of our three offered services: the Family Timeline Setup Workshop, the Four-Session Heritage Catalogue Programme, or the Annual Records and Heritage Programme.
• "Materials" refers to printed timelines, catalogues, records folders, or any deliverable produced during or at the conclusion of a programme.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions along with any programme booking confirmation.

By accessing this website or proceeding with a programme booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are booking on behalf of a household, you represent that you are authorised to do so.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Heirloom Path for the use of our website and programmes, unless a separate written programme agreement has been signed.

Heirloom Path provides household-centred heritage cataloguing and records curation. Our programmes are organisational and curatorial in nature. They do not constitute legal advice, document drafting, conveyancing, estate planning, or any form of professional advisory service regulated under Malaysian law.

We facilitate the organisation, labelling, and printing of family information that you provide. The accuracy and completeness of all information shared during a programme remains the responsibility of the household.

Our programmes are currently available to households based in or able to attend sessions in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Service availability may change; we will communicate any changes to booked clients promptly.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information during sessions and when completing enquiry forms.
• Obtain any necessary consents from other family members before sharing their personal information with us during a programme.
• Use our website and materials only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any materials we produce without prior written consent.
• Attend or arrange attendance at scheduled sessions as agreed. Late notice of cancellation (less than 48 hours prior) may result in the session being forfeited for annual programme participants.

All website content — including text, design elements, layout, and the Heirloom Path name — belongs to Heirloom Path and is protected by applicable Malaysian intellectual property laws.

Materials produced during a programme — printed timelines, catalogues, and records folders — are created from information you provide and belong to you upon delivery. Heirloom Path retains no rights to reproduce or distribute your family's heritage materials.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our website content for personal, non-commercial reference only. Reproduction of website content for any other purpose requires our prior written consent.

Programme fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM):

Payment is due upon confirmation of your booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and other methods communicated at the time of booking.

Refund Policy: Cancellations made at least 5 business days before the first session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made 2–4 business days in advance may receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 2 business days before a session, or after a session has taken place, are not eligible for a refund of that session's fee. For multi-session programmes, fees for completed sessions are not refundable.

Prices are subject to change. Any change will be communicated before a booking is confirmed.

Scope: All programmes are organisational and curatorial. We arrange, label, and present information; we do not verify the legal validity of any document, interpret its contents, or provide advice of a legal, financial, or professional nature.

Session scheduling: Sessions are arranged by mutual agreement. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate scheduling changes requested with at least 48 hours' notice.

Deliverables: Printed materials (timelines, catalogues, records folders) are produced using materials and specifications described at booking. Minor variations in print quality due to source materials do not constitute a defect.

Confidentiality: We treat all family information shared during sessions with care and do not disclose it to third parties except as required by law or described in our Privacy Policy.

Our website and programmes are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not represent that the website will be error-free or continuously available.

Heirloom Path does not provide legal, financial, taxation, or any professional advisory services. Nothing on our website or communicated during our programmes constitutes such advice. Households requiring legal or professional guidance should consult an appropriately qualified practitioner.

We do not warrant specific outcomes from programme participation. The value of heritage cataloguing is organisational and personal; it depends on the information and materials a household brings to the programme.

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Heirloom Path's total liability arising from or related to these Terms, our website, or our programmes shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the programme in question during the three months prior to the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of data, loss of family documents left in our temporary care (force majeure excluded), or decisions made by a household in reliance on catalogue materials we produce.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death and personal injury caused by our negligence.

Either party may terminate a programme arrangement by written notice. Refunds in such cases are governed by the refund policy in Section 6.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if a household's conduct is disrespectful, if the information requested to be catalogued is unlawful, or if continued engagement would require us to act beyond our organisational and curatorial scope.

Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination of any programme arrangement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will first be referred to informal resolution by contacting us at [email protected]. We will endeavour to resolve matters within 21 days.

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Entire agreement: these Terms, together with any written programme confirmation, constitute the complete agreement between us.

Severability: if any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

Waiver: failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of future rights to enforce it.

Assignment: you may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our obligations to a successor business entity.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of our website or services after the revised terms are published constitutes acceptance.

For material changes affecting active programme arrangements, we will notify the relevant household by email at least 14 days in advance.
